Philmont Scout Ranch provides an unforgettable adventure along its hundreds of miles of rugged, rocky trails. Program features combine the best of the Old West—horseback riding, burro packing, gold panning, chuck wagon dinners, and interpretive history with exciting challenges for today — rock climbing, burro racing, mountain biking, and rifle shooting — in an unbeatable recipe for fast-moving outdoor fun.

Hello,

As a reminder, I am re-sending the below information and application regarding camperships available for Philmont 2012.   The deadline to submit your application is December 19, 2011.

Also below is the application for your son/daughter to submit designs for our Philmont 2012 Shoulder Patch Contest. The designs will be reviewed and voted on by our Committee.  The winner will receive a gift, definitely needed for use at Philmont.  The deadline for submissions of designs has been extended to December 19, 2011.  Please have your son/daughter submit entries to Mr. Simpson.

On a personal note, I would like to wish you and your loved ones all the joy of the season.
